La próxima Convocatoria 2024 del Programa Europeo de Seguridad Emergencias y Ciberseguridad ( Horizonte Europa Cluster-3 Civil Security for Society), abrirá oficialmente el 27 de Junio con cierre el 20 de Noviembre.

La convocatoria cubre los siguientes ámbitos de la seguridad, gestión de emergencias y ciberseguridad:

La Secretaría de PESI está dado soporte a las iniciativas y consorcios relacionados principalmente con los topics relacionados con:

  • Resiliencia y Protección de Infraestructuras Críticas y espacios urbanos (INFRA)
  • DRS: Gestión de Emergencias y Resiliencia ante Desastres, incluyendo tecnologías para los primeros Intervinientes (First Responders)
  • Ciberseguridad (CS)
  • Apoyo a la innovación en Seguridad y aspectos éticos (SSRI)

De cara a la presentación de propuestas y preparación de profiles se debe tener en cuenta el mayor evento de Brokerage para esta convocatoria : SMI2G-2024 Security Mission Information & Innovation Paris 22-23 May, en el que estará como siempre presente de forma activa la Secretaría de PESI, ayudando en las gestiones o representando a las entidades españolas que lo necesiten.

For 2024, all the Calls will be launched on 27 Jun 2024, with a deadline on 20 Nov 2024.

New Horizon Europe calls addressing Civil Security for Society in Cluster 3 will be officially presented in June during INFO DAYS and we will inform you in advance about forthcoming great event and opportunity to participate in the brokerage event organised by SEREN5.

 

NOVEL NEWCOMERS´ GUIDE – HOW TO BE A CLUSTER 3 NCP- IS READY

SEREN5 has published a new Guide - “How to be a cluster 3 NCP” This new guide has been created as an info set for beginners, that provides information about the role of NCPs, and includes a short overview of the Horizon Europe Programme. In the article ”Core services provided by NCPs“ you can find some useful tips on:

• Information and awareness raising

• Assistance, advice and training

• Signposting and cooperation A list of training materials is provided for topics like proposal preparation, cross-cutting aspects, legal and financial issues, dissemination, exploitation and communication, and lump sum.

The most interesting part of the new Guide is the Chapter on practical aspects of the CL3 NCP daily work, which includes information about:

• Communication with the EC

• NCP Meetings

• Staying up-to-date with policy developments or networking with EC and stakeholders

• and many more.

The Guide aims to introduce important aspects of Cluster 3, and other useful resources, to newcomer NCPs. Newly appointed Cluster 3 NCPs can find specific information and tips about this particular role, equipping them with a set of main guiding principles, recommendations, and concrete suggestions for their daily work.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH, FUNDING, POLICY AND RELATED PUBLICATION

Developing a policy on AI in Science Commission’s AI strategy has 2 key directions issues:

• accelerating the adoption of AI by scientists, by creating essential enablers such as improved access to data, computational power and talent

• monitoring and steering the impact of AI on the scientific process, addressing science-specific AI challenges such as preserving scientific integrity and methodological rigour.

The main goal of EU Commission is to working together with the European scientific community, to harness AI’s vast potential while addressing the concerns of EU citizens.
