Descripción del evento

PESI ha sido invitada al congreso EXPANDEO organizado por la EARSC (European Association for Remote Sensing Companies ) sobre observación satelital aplicada a la Seguridad civil y la Resiliencia Ambiental. El congreso se celebrará en Bruselas los días 10 y 11 de Junio de 2026.

El ponente invitado es el Secretario General de PESI J Javier Larrañeta, miembro del board de la Red Europea DIREKTION (red de innovación y conocimiento de la resiliencia a desastres).

Larrañeta participa en el panel del día 11-Junio titulado: Earth Observation for Emergency Management: European Perspectives and Needs

This session will focus on exploring the synergies between emergency management and Earth Observation. Gathering emergency management authorities from different regions in Europe, it will explore their needs and challenges, especially in transnational contexts, gauge how EO is currently used and where there might be gaps, as well as understand how to best integrate EO-based insights.

El ámbito de la jornada corresponde con los objetivos de los Grupos de Trabajo de PESI GT-Seguridad integral y Resiliencia y SG-Gestión Emergencias y Desastres por lo que os animamos a participar en el Jornada. En Otoño PESI organizará una Jornada cubriendo algunos aspectos de este congreso en Madrid junto con el IIE, como continuación de las Jornadas  IIE-PESI sobre Ingeniería y Resiliencia de Infraestructuras industriales y críticas de España.
